Blogs In Classrooms Around the U.S.
In my search for blogs in other schools, I stumbled upon Mrs. Fudge's Kindergarten Class Blog. This class is at Chalker Elementary in Cobb County, Georgia. Mrs. Fudge uses her blog in many different ways. She has some links for her students, where they can look at the virtual library and also a few links for fun Math activities. Another way Mrs. Fudge uses her blog is to keep parents informed. She lets the parents know what the class did during the day, and also tips for how the parents can help the child at home. She also uses the blog to keep parents informed about school activities. Since she is a kindergarten teacher a blog for her is greats because not every kindergartner is going to remember to tell mom and dad of they get out of school early.

Another blog I found is for the Senior Class of 2009 at Pickens High School. Pickens High School is located in Jasper, Georgia. This senior class uses their blog to keep all of their classmates informed of their activities. The class has really picked up on the fact that not everyone will get a slip of paper or hear an announcement. The blog includes facts about their school that not all students may know, and also fundraisers the class is planning on having.
